Arch Wright
Arch Wright’s path to becoming a trusted and widely networked Interventionist, licensed Psychotherapist (archibaldwright.com) and Recovery Coach has been anything but typical. Arch is a former internationally ranked professional ski racer and a retired finance executive. He is a University of Michigan Ross School of Business graduate and holds a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. Arch has both professional and personal experience with the process of addiction. His own journey with recovery has given him significant insight into the causes, consequences and recovery from chemical and behavioral addictions.
After a successful career in finance Arch merged his passion for addiction recovery with a career opportunity as a financial and startup/equity consultant in the behavioral healthcare industry. Through this work he acquired a working knowledge of clinically sophisticated addiction treatment, assisted in the establishment of several rehabilitation centers, served as co-founder of two such entities and developed a deep network of industry leaders across the full continuum of addiction care.
Arch’s Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling included a ten-month clinical internship at The Meadows’ Gentle Path under Dr. Patrick Carnes. He also subsequently completed Post-Induction Therapy (PIT) training at The Meadows involving developmental trauma assessment and treatment. He holds Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM) certifications, credentials rooted in developmental trauma, attachment, interpersonal neurobiology and family systems theory. While Arch’s training and his work with addicts and their families since the mid '80's were the catalysts for the founding of Recovery Elevated Solutions, it is the partnership with his wife Julie and their combined skills that provide a First Stage of Treatment clinical foundation cruical for successful long term recovery.
Arch and Julie believe the most effective, ethical and clinically viable approach to any addiction support situation is to treat each case as unique. Recovery Elevated Solutions offers hope and compassion to alcoholics, addicts and those who love them. We are dedicated to helping overcome the disease of addiction - the strongest force in a person’s life.
